Ireland really is as gorgeous as you've heard...

...so I hear. I haven't actually been. Can you believe that? 12 miles away from the coast of Scotland, and I never went. Jason says it was gorgeous though, and so did my Dad & Georgia...and of course my Irish friends, so here's to some amazing Irish friends, being asked several times- "How are you enjoying life in Ireland?" = ), and of course...St. Patrick's Day.

The coast of Northern Ireland, right outside the hostel Jason, Tim, Mike & Stephen stayed in

Castle remains somewhere in Northern Ireland

One of my favorite Irish friends- Claire Birney. This girl gave me lifts when I was huge pregnant, and even drove our family to St. Andrews (and pulled over 4 times on the way, once even ON the freeway because of my car sickness), and of course inspires many with her one of a kind style.

Beth Higgins (the brunette). Well, I suppose Tim & Tony count too...they're Irish! She took over my role with the McDonald kids and is watching them weekly now. She is a servant if I've ever seen one. Among many other things, she carried groceries for miles to our flat in order to make us dinner when Christian was "wee."

And...my new favorite movie P.S. I Love You, and all of it's Irishness. I normally don't cry in movies, but this one brought up emotion that needed to come. I was sitting next to Amanda trying to slyly wipe my tears and about 1/2 through the movie I looked over again and...she was sleeping!! SLEEPING!
