Our Easter in Pictures

The night before Easter we dyed some eggs. We learned quickly that Christian just wanted to eat the eggs. It was so funny. He wasn't as enthralled with the bright colors as he was that he could crush the egg and have a snack!

...although I have to say he does look pretty pleased with this purple egg he did!

This was Jason's idea...does this mean we're offically "northern Californians"?

We had a little "pre-Easter" egg hunt. Christian could not keep his hands off these metallic eggs Jason let him pick out at the store. It was so fun watching him figure out how to open and close them. Today we filled them with puffs and freeze-dried fruit.

Easter morning included an Easter basket with lots of fun little things, and of course...church! We are loving our new church- and the Easter service was no exception. There was one point during the celebratory worship that I was sure that's what it would be like in Heaven. A full orchestra and everything, which brought back memories of my church background. It was so fun seeing Christian come out of Sunday school with this huge bunny rabbit! Apparently someone very generous donated these to all the babies- which was nice cause we didn't get him an Easter bunny.

Jason holds Christian as he (Christian) wakes up from his afternoon nap after church. Only...is Daddy asleep now?

We spent the warm afternoon outside having a little Mills family bbq and play time. It was a lot of fun! We had another Easter egg hunt outside with the real eggs and again, Christian devoured them. He banged them together just in order to get the skin off and then sat down mid Easter egg hunt and had another snack. That little guy cracks me up.

How great is it that our babies totally coordinated in their Easter outfits and we didn't even mean them to? It looks like you guys had such a peaceful easter! Yay!

I LOVE your Easter pictures and stories. It sounds wonderful.
what a handsome little man Christian is.

I finally figured out that your links work for me if I open your page up in Firefox, and I am so glad! Coming to your page and reading all your lovely blogs without being able to comment was driving me crazy. :)

By the way, I am so glad you've gotten back to your labor story. I can't wait to read your next installment!

I am cracking up over the eggs. That is too funny that he just had a snack in the middle of the egg dying and the hunt.

Emily- Awwww, that's so cute! Those babies look great in their green! I think you need to do some serious bragging on how you MADE Caris' Easter dress on your blog!

Talia- Ohhhh yayyyy a comment from you, it worked! I tried Barbie's advice of taking off a few of the new page elements I added right about when the comments stopped working for some people. Maybe that'll make it easier? I hope so- that's frustrating! I need to get back to my labor story, it's so fun recounting exactly how it went! Thanks for your sweet interest..

Lisa- haha, man, that made my day. I could not get enough pictures. Such a baby boy thing to do.

Honestly, could he get any cuter? I love his Easter outfit and it looks like you guys had such a nice family Easter. Was the weather better than Easter in Glasgow?

Barbie- Awwww, thanks! Ya know the thing that was better about Easter here in the US, was that we didn't have to walk 25 minutes to church in our Easter outfits. But...I actually wore jeans this year instead of trying to get dressed up, go figure!
